Championship Golf on Taveuni

Golfing

I play golf as regularly as I can when I’m on the island, and fortunately there are plenty of playing partners to choose from – local residents, resort visitors, and my own visitors dropping by to hello and enjoy the island lifestyle for a while.

Below are some group shots of all us cool dudes trying not to look too hot and bothered in the tropical sun as we stroll around the Soqulu 9-hole golf course. Cold beers at the end of it on the losers tab, or maybe a dollar or two to the victors !

Roger Federer is rumoured to have driven past this tennis court on a number of occasions, and our budding tennis prodigies hang out there in the hope of being talent spotted for a sports scholarship. Some have been hanging out for a few decades by the look of it.

Simply Snorkeling

You don’t need to be a fully fledged diver to enjoy Taveuni’s fantastic corals and the underwater wildlife, and you don’t have to go to far offshore either. Simply grab some basic snorkeling gear and away you go ! With minimum effort you’ll enter a peaceful aquatic wonderland full of colour.
