You don’t need to be a fully fledged diver to enjoy Taveuni’s fantastic corals and the underwater wildlife, and you don’t have to go to far offshore either. Simply grab some basic snorkeling gear and away you go ! With minimum effort you’ll enter a peaceful aquatic wonderland full of colour.

With so many fantastic dive sites on the doorstep you’re pretty much guaranteed to see something new and different on every dive. This is the second gallery in a series of 3 that features almost 100 photos capturing Taveuni’s underwater wonderland.

For the animal lover such as me there is plenty of opportunity to acquire new four legged friends, and help out with the welfare of animals generally on the island. Here, some of my favourite furry friends who love their life, eat my pizza, and use my pool, and sometimes steal the bedclothes !
